The bizhub C227 is a color laser multifunction printer designed for small to mid-size businesses providing productivity features for everyday office document processing. It offers a print and copy output of up to 22 pages per minute in both black & white and color with a high-resolution imaging capability of up to 1800 (equivalent) x 600 dpi using Simitri® HD polymerized toner. The device features an intuitive 7-inch multi-touch interface similar to a tablet with an embedded Near Field Communication (NFC) area for mobile connectivity and control panel access to downloadable apps from the bizhub MarketPlace. Standard configurations include copy print and scan functions a 250 GB hard disk drive for document storage and a standard paper capacity of 1100 sheets expandable to a maximum of 3600 sheets with optional trays. It supports various paper sizes up to 11'' x 17'' (A3) and offers optional finishing modes like stapling and booklet-making for right-size scalability. The C227 also incorporates robust security features such as hard disk encryption and user authentication and is an EPEAT certified product with power-saving design to help reduce environmental impact.
