The IntelliFAX-2800 utilizes a commercial-grade monochrome laser engine. This ensures that your incoming fax documents are printed with dark, crisp text that will not smudge, blur, or fade over time.
Do I have to discard the drum unit every time I run out of toner?
No. Brother implements an economical separate cartridge and drum system. You simply swap out the TN430 or TN460 toner cartridge inside the drum assembly, replacing the DR400 drum unit only after it has reached its full structural lifespan.
What does the QuickScan memory feature do?
QuickScan allows you to feed your multipage outbound documents through the Auto Document Feeder to quickly store them in the 2 MB memory cache. Once scanned, you can grab your original papers right away while the machine dials and transmits the data in the background.
