The Epson LQ-2070 is a 24-pin impact dot matrix printer designed for wide forms printing delivering sharp clear output with print resolutions of up to 360 x 360 dpi. It offers flexible paper handling through four paper paths (top front bottom and rear) to accommodate a variety of media including multi-part continuous forms cut sheets envelopes postcards and labels. The printer features fast printing speeds of up to 300 characters per second (cps) at 10 cpi in high-speed draft mode and 110 cps in letter quality mode at 12 cpi with quiet operation compared to previous models. It includes a choice of 10 bitmap four scalable (Epson Roman Roman T Sans Serif and Sans Serif H) and eight barcode fonts all selectable from a convenient control panel and utilizes the enhanced printer control language ESC/P 2.
