The Sharp MX-M283N is a highly productive black & white multifunctional system engineered to help increase workflow efficiency for small to medium workgroups. It functions as a copier printer and scanner with an optional fax feature. It delivers letter-size documents at a rated speed of 28 pages-per-minute with a fast first print out time of 4.6 seconds. The device features a large high-resolution 8.5'' touch-screen color LCD control panel with graphical menu navigation and thumbnail views and a full-size retractable keyboard option for easy data entry. The standard configuration includes a 100-sheet Reversing Single Pass Feeder (RSPF) for automatic duplexing enabling a maximum scan speed of 50 originals per minute in both B/W and color. The MX-M283N supports high-quality 1200 x 1200 dpi printing resolution and standard PCL6/PCL5e network printing with optional PostScript 3™ and XPS support. The machine is built around a powerful true multi-tasking controller and supports Sharp OSA® technology for integration with network applications. It has a standard paper input capacity of 1100 sheets expandable up to 5600 sheets with options and includes robust security solutions.
